I'm Danny Keane, a Principal Product Designer on the founding team at Guild.ai, where we're building the control plane for AI agents. The company is backed by Khosla Ventures and GV.
I design and build products before there's a playbook for them, and I operate full-stack across design, product, and engineering. Twenty years of that, scaling products from zero to billions of users.
Being first in has been the pattern: first design hire at Zesty (Y Combinator W14, $17M Series A, acquired by Square and then DoorDash) and employee #12 at Titan, which went from Series A to a $450M valuation with a16z backing.
The work spans product design, design systems, AI and generative AI, product strategy, and enterprise software. In practice I write the code too -- React, TypeScript, Next.js, Python -- which is why this site is a terminal rather than a slide deck.

YouTube / Google (2017-2021) -- Product Design Lead. Built YouTube Communities 0-to-1, the creator-economy engagement layer that reached 2 billion+ users. YouTube Giving raised $10M+.
Zesty (2013-2017) -- first hire, YC W14. $17M Series A, acquired by Square, then DoorDash.
Truphone (2011-2013) -- Product Design Lead. Built the first app team; the work unlocked $118M in funding.
NEVERBLAND (2009-2011) -- employee #4 at a London startup studio. Before that, freelance from the age of 14, with clients including the BBC and Y Combinator.
figmanage -- an open-source CLI and MCP server for Figma workspace admin. 122 tools, 3K+ downloads in its first week.
Figma plugins -- redlines and other design-to-dev handoff plugins, 130K+ installs, staples on design systems teams at Google, Facebook, Airbnb, and Apple.
Open-source CSS animation and retina-display work on Bootstrap that shipped as part of the flight software on NASA's Ingenuity Mars helicopter. GitHub Arctic Code Vault contributor.
